Transmission Housing

Step 1

Fit the two tabs of the Air Conditioning Controls to the matching posts on the rear of the Center Console, with the details of the Controls passing through the opening as shown:

This part can be accidentally installed upside down. Check the front of the part to make sure it is correct, as shown:

Steps 2-3

Secure the Controls to the rear of the Console with two (2) AP screws, as shown:

As a quick sneak preview, this is how the Center Console will be fitted into the Transmission Housing. I put it here to keep the parts stored together:

Steps 4-5

Fit the tab of the Rear Ashtray Tab into this matching location at the rear of the Transmission Housing, then secure it into place with one (1) AP screw:

Thoughts

After the previous few stages being longer than usual, this one went together very quickly. When our next shipment arrives, we will continue our work on the interior of our K.I.T.T. partwork model, I can’t wait!
