Build
Rear Axle Assembly
Step 1
Fit the two posts of the Differential Base into the matching posts of the Rear Axle, as shown:
Step 2
Secure these parts together from the other side with two (2) BP screws:
Step 3
Fit the Differential Cover to this Rear Axle assembly, noting the correct position.
This Differential Cover will overlap the edges of the Rear Axle opening if fitted backwards:
Step 4
Secure the Differential Cover into place with two (2) GM screws.

Thoughts
Only three parts and a few screws and this stage is finished! I am very grateful that Fanhome/DeAgostini chose to make the Rear Axle of this model out of metal. There are a few partwork vehicles with plastic rear axles and I fear they may not be able to withstand the weight of these heavy models over time.
