“In this issue, you will mount the right exhaust on the chassis of your scale model of the legendary K.I.T.T.”
This stage will be a near duplicate of the previous stage, just with the right-side exhaust parts.

Build
Mounting the Right Exhaust
Step 1
Fit the Right Exhaust 4 section onto the Right Exhaust 3 section, align the screw holes, and secure these together with three (3) AP screws:
Step 2
Slide the hole in the tab at the forward end of the Exhaust assembly over this end post of Right Exhaust 1, as shown:
Step 3
Fit the Right Exhaust 2 down into the open side of Right Exhaust 1, aligning the screw holes as shown.
Secure these Exhaust sections together with three (3) AP screws:
Step 4
Retrieve your Chassis assembly from the previous stage and carefully place it upside down on your work surface. As in the previous stage, slide the smaller end of this Right Exhaust assembly onto the Turbine Right Exhaust (circled below) and fit the posts along the Right Exhaust assembly into the matching holes along the Chassis:
You may have to flex the Exhaust assembly a bit to get it aligned into each of the circular post recesses of the Chassis:
Step 5
Begin securing this Right Exhaust into place from above with three (3) BP screws along the middle of the Chassis:

Finish securing this Right Exhaust into place from above with one (1) more BP screw at the rear of the Chassis:
Step 7
Fit the Exhaust Bracket across the bottom of the Chassis right behind the Turbine engine, as shown:
Secure this Exhaust Bracket to the Chassis and Gearbox Case with three (3) EM screws.
This is your friendly reminder to try using 3-in-One Oil on all screws going into metal:
Step 8
Finally, secure the Exhaust Bracket to the two Exhaust pipe assemblies with two (2) BP screws:
Thoughts
I knew there had to be additional mounting points to secure our Turbine engine in place and this Exhaust Bracket was it. Once installed, our engine is now firmly mounted in our Chassis!
