Turbine Assembly (5)
As per the engine paintwork I started back in Stage 19, I airbrushed the Bottom 1 and Back of the Turbine Housing with Tamiya XF-85 Rubber Black acrylic paint:
Fit the two posts of the Bottom of the Turbine Housing 2 into the matching holes of the Bottom of the Turbine Housing 1.
Note the position of the two small pins on Housing 2 – these should point towards the front of Housing 1, as shown:
Secure this Bottom 2 into place from the inside with two (2) BP screws:
Retrieve your Turbine assembly from the previous stage. Fit the two circular recesses on the long tab of the Back of the Turbine Housing over these posts of the Turbine Top, as shown:
Secure the Back of the Turbine Housing into place with two (2) GM screws.
This is your friendly reminder to try using 3-in-One Oil on all screws going into metal:
Fit the Bottom of the Turbine assembly in between the Left and Right Housings and squeeze it flush against the Turbine Top, as shown:
Secure the two Turbine sections together with two (2) AM screws:
With this stage finished, we have completed the main assembly of K.I.T.T.’s Turbine engine!
